Important Announcement

We’re very sorry to announce that due to severe disruptions caused by Storm Boris that Mariam Rezaei will not be performing this evening.

This is very disappointing for all of us but out of our control. Our thoughts go out to those that have lost their lives to the storm, and to the many thousands of people that have been displaced.

Mariam will return to Great Yarmouth in the near future to present the outcome of her summer residency with us. We will be in touch with details as soon as we have them (and tickets will be free).

Fortunately, we’re very pleased that the amazing Conal Blake (bio below) will be performing at the Hippodrome at 6pm instead.

We also wanted to confirm that the after party will go ahead as planned from 21.30 at Hendee House, with DJ sets from Fritz Welch and Matt Bayfield of Purple City. There will be a bar serving Lacons beer and other drinks, these will be offered via a cash donation to cover costs. So please bring a little cash.

There are two wheelchair accessible taxis booked at 21.30 from Former Great Yarmouth Potteries to Hendee House for the after party. These are prioritised for those unable to make the 20-minute walk, so please come forward if you need a seat.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you later.

Conal Blake is a musician from Glasgow who plays electronics and percussion. He currently performs solo, in a duo with Hannan Jones, and in a trio with Li Song and Regan Bowering. He has recently performed live at Cafe OTO, Counterflows Festival, Skanu Mesz Festival (Riga) & Studium P (Vilnius). He also runs the Feedback Moves label which has released works by @xcrswx, Pat Thomas, Lolina & more.
